Joao Palhinha about to Bayern Munich from Fulham

Bayern Munich are on the verge of completing a deal with Fulham for midfielder Joao Palhinha in the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Palhinha, who played for Portugal at the UEFA Euro 2024 finals in , has already completed his medical at Bayern and will sign his contract with the Bundesliga club on Wednesday.

Romano wrote on X: “João Palhinha has already completed his medical as new Bayern player, contract until June 2028 to be signed today in Munich.

“Fulham will receive fee in the region of €50m plus add-ons. Here we go, confirmed.”

Palhinha has been on the books of Fulham since 2022 when he ed from Sporting Lisbon. The 29-year-old Portugal international defensive midfielder has scored seven goals and given one assist in 68 appearances in the Premier League for the Cottagers so far in his career.
