The first pair of matches in the Champions League quarterfinals, Arsenal’s comprehensive victory over Real Madrid and Inter Milan’s triumph over Bayern in Munich, yielded some fantastic goals.

Declan Rice scored a sublime brace of free-kicks and Mikel Merino showed great presence of mind to score Arsenal’s third, and Inter captain Lautaro Martinez broke the deadlock at the Allianz Arena with a lovely finish of his own.
