Nottingham Forest could bid €40m for Douglas Luiz

Nottingham Forest are interested in g Douglas Luiz from Juventus in the summer transfer window, according to TuttoJuve. The report in the Italian news outlet has revealed that Forest will make a bid of €40million for the Brazil international midfielder if they are able to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Forest are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 60 points from 34 matches, level on points with Chelsea, who are fifth and occupy the final UEFA Champions League spot in the table. Meanwhile, Juventus currently find themselves fourth in the Serie A table with 62 points from 34 games.

Luiz ed Juventus from Aston Villa in the summer of 2024 when he ed for £42.35million. The 26-year-old was expected to be a huge success at the Italian club, but his impact has been minimal. Luiz has made only 23 appearances for the Bianconeri. During his time at Villa, the midfielder scored 22 goals and given 24 assists in 204 appearances.
