According to TalkSport, Wolverhampton Wanderers are one of several Premier League clubs closely monitoring the situation around Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott.
The 22-year-old, capable of playing on the wing or in midfield, has endured a difficult campaign, which he started injured. After recovering from a broken foot in late November, he has only made 15 Premier League appearances, contributing a single assist as his team grabbed their 20th league title. His only start in the English top flight in 2024/25 so far was the 3-1 defeat to Chelsea last week, with the title already secured.
As things stand, it’s believed Elliott would prefer to stay at Liverpool and fight for game-time under Arne Slot, but he hasn’t ruled out leaving in search of more minutes either. Liverpool value his services at around £40million.
And while such a price tag may deter other suitors, Wolves boss Vitor Pereira expects his employers to back him in the transfer market if striker Matheus Cunha, who has a £62.5million release clause in his contract, is sold.
Cunha is a target for Manchester United, with Arsenal and Newcastle interested as well.
