Ally Sentnor scored two first-half goals, before Lynn Biyendolo did the same in the second half to wrap up a 4-0 victory for the United States in their friendly against Jamaica on Tuesday.
The USWNT maintained the momentum they had built in their 3-0 victory over China on Saturday in a dominant performance.
The United States finished with 23 shots to two, while it ended 10-0 in shots on target, 12-0 on corners and they also had 82.4% of the ball throughout the match.
“I want us to be calm and controlled in what we’re doing. I thought there was a maturity to that,” USWNT coach Emma Hayes said, as quoted in ESPN.
“When I watch the team, they very much moulded into an Emma Hayes team. That’s how I feel when I watch us. I feel like there’s a lot of composure to the performances.”
For 21-year-old Sentnor, it was a seminal performance on the international stage as she netted her third and fourth goals for her country in her ninth appearance.
Her first came after some nice build up with Emily Fox ultimately laying the ball off for her to blast home, while the second came after the ball fell to her in the penalty area for an easy finish.
After the game, Sentnor was complimentary of her team-mates’ abilities.
“They’re really easy to play with at moving the bal. I’m still trying to work to get better for them,” she said.

If the first half was Sentnor’s, then the second was Biyendolo’s after coming off the bench to net twice.
Her first came from a tap-in after a corner, while the second was after a run through Jamaica’s defence, converting from an Avery Patterson.
“She [Biyendol] always contributes to the team’s performance in a profound way. She could have had a hat trick coming off the bench,” said Hayes.
Away from the goals, another big story to come out of the match was the return of defender Namo Girma, who played in her first international game of the year after several injuries.
“Naomi is like getting the Rolls-Royce out of the garage. I mean, what an unbelievable football player,” said Hayes.
“She just brings a level of composure and decision making in the deeper spaces, that’s just so underrated.”
