Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero is full of confidence ahead of their game against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The Old Lady has impressed recently with very good form recently and won their meeting in Turin.
“We have been rewarded for the hard work, initiative and excellent play that we have been showing,” Del Piero told his official website.
“Now we need consistency to close this cycle of many games by playing well and getting the right result, starting from the game against Real Madrid.”
Del Piero also commented on his chances to get into Marcello Lippi’s Italy side.
“We have been improving greatly and we need to continue doing so,” added Del Piero.
“Italy? Lippi knows that I will not give up on Italy and on South Africa.”
