AZ sign Berghuis from Twente

Eredivisie outfit AZ have completed the g of Steven Berghuis from Twente for an undisclosed fee.

The promising winger has signed a contract with the Alkmaar side that will run until the summer of 2017.

The Dutch club were in the market for attacking reinforcements due to the departure of Brett Holman to Aston Villa, and they have now found their man in the 20-year-old Berghuis.

The Netherlands Under-21 starlet came through the ranks of the Twente youth academy, but failed to secure regular first-team action in Enschede.

Berghuis was farmed out on loan to VVV in the second half of the 2011-12 campaign, and helped the Limburgers stave off relegation.
