Former Chelsea youngster Morten Nielsen has ed Dutch champions AZ Alkmaar on a free transfer.
The 19-year-old was released by Premier League side Chelsea, earlier this month.
Nielsen has signed a two-year contract with the Dutch side after completing a medical on Monday.
The youngster insists that he has been told by Ronaldo Koeman that he will be a part of the first-team plans for the Dutch side.
“It is a big challenge that awaits me over the coming years,” Nielsen told Ekstra Bladet.
“But that is exactly what I wanted.
“AZ believe in me and Ronald Koeman has said that he will play me.”
