Endrick is a doubt for the Club World Cup and Brazil’s World Cup qualifiers, with the Real Madrid forward having suffered a hamstring injury.
The 18-year-old limped off in the 58th minute of Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Sevilla last weekend.
The club subsequently confirmed Endrick sustained an injury to the hamstring tendon in his right leg and, though they gave no timeframe, he will reportedly be absent for at least two months.
“Following tests carried out today on our player Endrick by Real Madrid’s medical services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the hamstring tendon in his right leg. He will be monitored closely,” they said in a statement.
