Liverpool ready €80m bid for Xavi Simons

Liverpool are interested in g Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that the Premier League leaders are looking for a replacement for Mohamed Salah and believe that Simons would be a good g for the Reds.

Salah is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of the season. While the Reds want the Egyptian forward to stay, there is no agreement on a new deal, which means that, as things stand, the former Chelsea attacker is set to leave Anfield as a free agent at the end of June.

While Liverpool believe that Simons would be a very good addition to their team, the Premier League leaders are facing competition from Manchester United. RB Leipzig are aware of interest in Simons and want €80 million for him, and while it is a big figure for certain clubs, Liverpool are ready to pay it.
