Nottingham Forest attacking midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White is flattered by interest from Manchester City, according to Football Insider. Man City are eyeing a move for Gibbs-White if they fail to bring in Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, and the 25-year-old finds that very flattering.
The report has added that the chance to work with Pep Guardiola at Man City is also appealing for Gibbs-White. Guardiola is one of the greatest managers of all time and has been hugely successful at Man City. While the Cityzens could potentially miss out on a place in the Premier League top five this season, there is no doubt that they are one of the biggest clubs in the world.
Gibbs-White has been on the books of Forest since 2022 and has established himself as one of the best players for the Reds. The 25-year-old has scored six goals and given 10 assists in 36 matches in all competitions this season for Forest, who are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 62 points from 36 matches, just a point behind fifth-placed Chelsea.
