Ooijer may be offered new Blackburn deal

Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce has revealed that Dutch defender Andre Ooijer may still have a future at the club.

The Holland international is out of contract at the end of the season and is expected to Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.

“As far as I am aware, Andre hasn’t signed a pre-agreement with PSV so that still leaves the door open for ourselves obviously, depending on how things go,” Allardyce told the club’s official website.

“If he had a pre-contract already signed then it would have been out of the question and completely finished.

“But as Andre tells me at the moment that a contract hasn’t been signed yet, so there is still a door open.”
