Manchester City are interested in g Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that Man City manager Pep Guardiola personally wants to bring Reijnders to the Etihad Stadium.
Last season’s Premier League champions could offer £70 million for Reijnders, who has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Serie A and is one of the first names on the Italian club’s teamsheet. The 26-year-old Netherlands international midfielder has scored 15 goals and given five assists in 52 appearances for the Rossoneri so far in his career.
Man City are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 65 points from 36 matches, a point behind fifth-placed Aston Villa, who have played 37 games. Meanwhile, Milan currently find themselves eighth in the Serie A table with 60 points from 36 games, four points behind fourth-placed Juventus.
