Ajax technical manager Danny Blind has confirmed they will not sell striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar in this transfer window.
The Holland star has been linked with Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham this summer. Blind says Huntelaar will not leave the club as they will have no time to find a replacement for the Holland international.
“Selling such an important player on the last day of the transfer deadline is impossible,” Blind told De Telegraaf.
“For every other player we would like to sign in return, we would then have to pay the highest price.
“So we have agreed within the club that we won’t reply to any offer we get on Monday.”
