Kylian Mbappe congratulated Paris Saint-Germain on their long-awaited Champions League triumph.
PSG finally ended their wait to get their hands on the biggest trophy in European club football, as Luis Enrique’s side dismantled Inter 5-0 in the final in Munich.
Desire Doue scored twice while Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu were also on target as PSG recorded the biggest victory in a European Cup/Champions League final.
The Ligue 1 champions, who have completed a treble, lifted the trophy in what was their 168th game in the Champions League, the most any side has played before winning the competition for the first time.

It was a trophy that ultimately eluded Mbappe, who came closest in the 2020 final when they were beaten by Bayern Munich.
He departed for Real Madrid at the end of last season.
However, the captain took to social media to pay tribute to his former club, posting on Instagram: “The big day has finally arrived. Victory, and in club style. Congratulations to PSG.”
Mbappe, who won six Ligue 1 titles with PSG, remains the club’s all-time leading scorer with 256 goals between 2017 and 2024.
He was not the only superstar to congratulate PSG on their record-breaking success.
Novak Djokovic, in action at Roland-Garros while the final was ongoing, celebrated his third-round win and also PSG’s triumph, posting on X: “A good night in Paris (not just in the football).”
