Tottenham Hotspur are interested in g Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun. The England Under-21 international midfielder looks set to leave Middlesbrough after they failed to clinch promotion to the Premier League, and Spurs are among the clubs keen on a deal for him.
Middlesbrough value Hackney at £20million. The 22-year-old midfielder scored five goals and gave three assists in 44 appearances for Boro last season, and found the back of the net twice and provided two assists in 28 matches for the North Yorkshire club.
Tottenham are not the only club that have taken a shine to Hackney. According to The Sun, FC Porto and Crystal Palace, too, are keen on g the youngster in the summer transfer window. German club VfB Stuttgart are interested in Hackney as well.
